Summary: PCS-Counseling is seeking a part-time office support staff/receptionist to join a dynamic and compassionate team performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks during late afternoon and evening hours.

Description:
- Provides excellent customer service, demonstrates the ability to engage clients in a warm, welcoming, and empathetic manner, and maintains a high standard of professionalism.
- Responsible for greeting clients, guests, and vendors. Checks clients in for their scheduled appointments and communicates to the assigned therapist.
- Acts as a liaison between clients, therapists, and staff responsible for billing and accounting. Handles and records cash payments.
- Gathers referral information, creates a new client file and/or updates information for reopens, and schedules intake appointments with therapists based upon clients’ needs and preferences. Consults with Clinical Director as needed. Provides resources and/or external referrals when applicable.
- Ensure that intake paperwork documentation is completed prior to the initial appointment, scanned into the Electronic Health Record, and updated annually. Enters information or scans documents into client records.
- Partners with office staff and therapists for scheduling, cancelling, and/or rescheduling appointments.
- Work closely with staff to maintain office operations and facilitate communication.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or 1-2 years of college or technical school/training.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Experience using a variety of office equipment, including answering phones, operating computers, printers, scanners, and fax machines.
- Proficiency with computer software systems, including Electronic Health Records, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook/Email, and Google Suite.
- Excellent skills in the areas of verbal and written communication, organization, time management, attention to detail, critical thinking, and customer service.
- Hours Available: Monday through Thursday 4PM-8PM. Opportunities for additional hours as needed.

We accept most major commercial insurance health plans (BCBS, BCN, Aetna, Out of Network), private pay, and sliding scale fees.
One of the most unique aspects of PCS is the use of a proprietary assessment tool, the Behavioral Styles Profile (BSP). Our counselors, coaches, business consultants, and trainers utilize the BSP tool in their work with clients to help them gain greater awareness of behavioral patterns in themselves and others in typical and stressful situations to improve personal and professional relationships. The BSP tool is also utilized with job candidates as part of our selection process, as well as with PCS staff for personal growth, professional development, team building, and to enhance workplace culture.
Reports to: Director of Clinical Services.
Compensation: Starting at $18/hour and commensurate with experience.

The ideal candidate is interested in being part of a learning community of professionals with experience providing clinical assessment and psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families, utilizing trauma informed care and evidence-based practices. EMDR trained/certified preferred.
Description:
• Conduct clinical assessments, formulate diagnoses, and develop treatment plans.
• Provide psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, and families in a fully furnished office setting and telehealth using a HIPAA compliant platform.
• Build a caseload through incoming referrals and networking, as well as self-directed marketing.
• Monitor client progress and coordinate medically necessary outpatient behavioral health services.
• Maintain electronic medical records and daily progress notes.
• Clinical and Reflective supervision.
• Case consultation, team meetings, and training.
• Flexible full-time and part-time scheduling hours.
• Competitive fee-split compensation structure paid twice a month based upon client billing.
• Scheduling, billing, and credentialing, marketing, administrative support provided by office staff.
Qualifications:
• Master or Doctoral level degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling from an accredited university
• State of Michigan professional licensure as a LMSW, LPC, LP, or LLP
• Maintain professional liability insurance.
• Experience delivering outpatient and telehealth therapy services to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families in private practice, community mental health, or integrated health clinic settings.
