Behavioral Styles Profiles

One of the most unique aspects of PCS is the proprietary use of the Behavioral Styles Profile.  It was inspired by a model used with 500,000 individuals and organizations throughout the world. It provides an overall BSP Style, as well as predictors of how the individual presents typically and in times of stress in professional and personal environments.

The BSP tool offers people the chance to quickly identify behavioral styles and psychological needs within themselves and others, in both their professional and personal lives.  It is one of several major assessment tools PCS uses with their work in selection, personal development, team building and customer relationship engagements. It will become the common language and culture building tool.

The BSP profiles have been correlated with the highly successful end users in various business roles: including leadership; management, sales, finance; account management; service; reception, phone and internet specialists to customer handling. Patterns have been established with each position – allowing for hiring recommendations with a high percentage of success. This becomes a cornerstone in the development of a customized Personal Development Plan – to assist both the employee and manager toward mutual success.

Team Development and Progress Report

“Teamwork ultimately comes down to practicing a small set of principles over a long period of time.” —Patrick Lencioni. This assessment and training create a learning experience that helps teams understand how they relate to each other within The Five Behaviors model of: Trust, Conflict, Commitment, Accountability, and Results. The Five Behaviors program helps team members have deeper conversations about how they work together on a day-to-day basis. It provides a rich experience for a team to come back to again and again. The Progress Report is designed to illustrate how a team’s behaviors have changed as compared to the last time the team was assessed. Improvements on the team as well as challenges that may be hindering further development are outlined in the report. Individual Coaching can aid the team where challenges are identified. Building a cohesive, productive team takes work, but the payoff can be huge—for individuals, the team, and the organization.

Self-Determination Adult Scale

The Self-Determination Adult Scale (SDAS) was
developed at Wayne State University by Sharon
Field, Ed.D. and Alan Hoffman, Ed.D. The Action
Model for Self-Determination illustrates the five
major components of the SDAS: Know Yourself
and Your Context, Value Yourself, Plan, Act, and
Experience Outcomes and Learn. The SDAS
provides standardized scores and feedback to
help identify personal barriers and supports for
self-determination in the workplace, home, and
community. The SDAS can serve as a
foundation for improving successful
performance, at work and in one’s personal life.
Research has shown that people who are selfdetermined
are more intrinsically motivated to
get things done, are happier and have more
energy to put toward achieving what they want.
